Duties
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff on best practices and new procedures.
- Monitor compliance with health regulations and maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by patients or staff promptly and effectively.
Skills
- Proficiency in tube feeding techniques and experience with gastric lavage.
- Knowledge of senior care practices.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly PCC.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Competence in administering injections and IV infusions.
- Strong team management abilities to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to assess patient needs quickly and make informed decisions regarding care.
