EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Complies with the Code of Ethics of the Education Profession; upholds and enforces rules, administrative directives, regulations, GISD school board policies, as well as local, state and federal regulations.Assists in supervising and coordinating activities of workers who prepare, cook, serve food, clean premises and wash dishes.Keeps daily record of meals served and takes inventory of supplies and equipment.Assists in the training of new employee as needed.Assists in the ordering of food and non-food items needed based on the set menus given.Acts as the Clerk in the absence of the Cook-Clerk.Participates in preparing, cooking meals, cleaning of kitchen and other daily tasks of preparing meals.Acts as Student Nutrition Manager in the absence of the Student Nutrition Manager.Performs other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervises 2 Field Supervisors. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Indirectly supervises 180 non-supervisory employees.
