SUMMARY Assist kitchen personnel with kitchen duties during non-meal times, provide assistance and supervision to students during meal service so that a positive atmosphere is experienced by the students during their meal service.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Complies with the Code of Ethics of the Education Profession; upholds and enforces rules, administrative directives, regulations, GISD school board policies, as well as local, state and federal regulations. Attends job-related training classes and workshops.Practices procedures in use and care of equipment and personal habits to assure that sanitation standards are met. Follows standards of safety while performing duties in kitchen and dining room.Follows all direction managers or designated person in charge gives orally and written.Assists in maintaining daily required forms.Refills all utensils on the serving line during meal service. Refills milk box before and during meal service.May assist in the prepping of menu items during non-serving times. Assists with putting all inventory/stock away. Assists with cleaning of kitchen, which may include dishwashing, mopping, sweeping, etc. Will assist in gathering all trash accumulated during meal service and putting in the large trash bin provided by the custodian. Assist students through the lunch line during meal service. Follows procedures in established personnel matters.Performs other duties as directed.
