What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Roofing Installer/Repairer position at GAF Roofing Academy?
The GAF Roofing Academy, in partnership with Baker Home Exteriors, will be hosting a Free Introduction to Commercial Roofing Installation and Service Training with a focus on repairs on Tuesday, March 18th - Thursday, March 19th! The graduates of the program will receive a GAF Roofing Academy Certificate of Completion. Completion of the program signals to roofing employers that the graduates have the proper entry-level skills for a roofing installation career. Graduates will also have the opportunity to earn their OSHA 10, for free, outside of training hours per student request.
Program Details:
-This program will focus on teaching the basics of low slope commercial roofing installation and repairs.
-The graduates of the class will have the knowledge and skills to enter into the commercial roofing industry.
-Graduates will receive a certificate of completion as a GAF Roofing Academy Graduate.
-Upon Completion, graduates will have the opportunity to interview with Baker Home Exteriors for full-time employment in the union.
-Transportation to and from training facility is the responsibility of the attendee.
-Light breakfast and lunch provided each day.
