The Sales Operations Technology and Enablement team operates at the intersection of technology and business, delivering impactful solutions that drive sales success.The Pricing Systems Analyst will play a vital role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing GAF's pricing platforms, including CPQ, Quoting, Price List Management, and Price Optimization tools. This role is focused on ensuring these tools are used effectively by the business, well-integrated with ERP and CRM systems, and continue to evolve in alignment with our pricing strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive pricing precision, efficiency, and data consistency. This position is based in our Corporate location in Parsippany, NJ.Essential Duties
- Pricing Platform Support & Analysis:• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist in the daily support of pricing platforms, including CPQ, Price List Management, Deal Guide, and Quoting tools. Provide detailed analysis on usage patterns, pricing behaviors, and system impact.
- Process Optimization & Feature Enablement:• Work closely with Sales Operations, Pricing, Finance, and other stakeholders to evaluate and expand adoption of advanced capabilities across the pricing suite. Identify opportunities to streamline quoting workflows, improve margin analysis, and automate manual processes.
- Integration & Data Stewardship:• Support the integrity of pricing data across ERP and Salesforce platforms by analyzing data flow, validating mapping, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Ensure pricing logic, terms, and discounts are applied consistently.
- Vendor Coordination:• Assist in supporting relationships with vendors, including logging support tickets, validating fixes, and tracking enhancements. Help facilitate testing and communication between internal teams and vendor support.
- Documentation & Standards:• Document business processes, system configuration, integration points, and pricing rules. Maintain user guides and help materials for end users, ensuring consistency and usability.
- Reporting & Insight Generation:• Create and maintain reports and dashboards that help stakeholders monitor pricing effectiveness, quoting velocity, and system adoption. Identify data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:• Work across teams to align pricing system capabilities with business needs. Serve as a bridge between business users and technical teams for pricing-related initiatives.
- Project and Program delivery:• Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects and programs for the Sales Operations Technology team, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Provide product, application and process support, end-user support where needed, and training expertise
- Identify functionality gaps and continuous improvement opportunities and develop appropriate action plans, user stories, project justifications, and other applicable documentation
- Perform (internal or external) customer research (in partnership with Stakeholders) by means of including surveys, product analytics, market research, interviews, online forums, or other cost-effective means of gaining insight into the "voice of the customer." Effectively utilize insights gained in the prioritization, elaboration, and delivery of solutions
- Create, maintain and review business process models, data flows, prototypes, business requirements, use cases, and test cases
- Work with key stakeholders to make frequent and dynamic prioritization decisions based on the latest product analytics, product team metrics and customer feedback. Define, track and communicate key product performance indicators as required to inform this process and track results
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood
- Reviews & resolves requests for services/improvements and partners with stakeholders, clarifies objectives, contributes to feasibility studies, and jointly determines business implications/value
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Sales Operations, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3 years of experience working in pricing, sales operations, business systems, or quoting support roles.
- 3 years experience analyzing, elaborating, and documenting user and stakeholder requirements.
- Prior experience supporting enterprise pricing tools with integration to ERP and CRM systems.
- Experience in systems analysis, business analysis, process analysis, project management, or other relevant work experience.
- Experience implementing, supporting, and managing business processes and systems.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and SAP environments strongly preferred.
- Pricing certifications are a plus but not required.
- CRM certifications are a plus but not required.
- Previous Sales Operation or Sales experience is a plus.
- Previous Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience working with pricing systems and enterprise pricing platforms.
- Familiarity with the integration of third-party solutions or vendor tools to ERP (SAP preferred) and CRM (Salesforce) systems.
- Understanding of B2B pricing concepts such as price waterfalls, segmentation, discounting structures, and margin analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Experience working with business users to identify process improvement opportunities within pricing and quoting workflows.
- Comfortable working with system documentation, configuration logic, and process diagrams.
- Proficient in Excel and reporting/visualization tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to support end-users and document technical processes clearly.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and desire to continuously improve systems and user experience.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
- Adaptable to accommodate changing business requirements and proactively communicate around and manage change.
