Team SummaryThe Technology & Professional Services Indirect Procurement Team is responsible for sourcing technology and professional services solutions across all Business functions . The Team works collaboratively with Business stakeholders to develop and align on strategy, to support solution and supplier selections through go to market events, to negotiate contracts, to manage vendors, and to complete contract renewals.Job SummaryThe Procurement Specialist will be an integral part of the Technology & Professional Services Indirect Procurement Team with exposure to all functions within GAF. Additionally, this role may provide support for requests which span across Standard Industries' Operating Companies. This role will include partnering with Category Managers within the Team support of strategic initiatives. This role is a great opportunity to learn, develop, and grow into a more strategic procurement lead.Essential Duties
- Negotiate and implement NDAs, run go to market events (RFx), manage tactical renewals at the direction of Tech & PS Category Managers, lead and/or assist in supplier negotiations, help drive execution and optimization of Indirect vendors in our environment. (30%-40%)
- Support strategic go to market events (RFx) partnered with Tech & PS Category Managers. (10-15%)
- Coordinate with Tech & PS Category Managers and internal customers to create and manage contract renewals. (10-15%)
- Support Tech & PS Category Managers in the development of sourcing strategies that are aligned with GAF business objectives. (10-15%)
- Ad-hoc support requests, contract record maintenance, reporting development and support. (10-15%)
- Up to 10% Travel as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree Supply Chain, Supply Chain, STEM, or business related field Required
- 2 or more years of experience in a business role

- Solid understanding of standard procurement and supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures, including strong negotiation skills and contract experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinking with a bias toward action
- Excellent communication and computer skills including proficiency with Google Suite of Products (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
Consideration will be given based on geography, candidate experience, and qualifications.
Annual Salary Range: 72,000-92,000
