Description
Drafters create drawings for use in the production of concrete products. They build layouts and create elevations, sections and field connections for structural and architectural projects using Revit. Drafters work on teams with engineers, sales, and project managers to manage projects, resolve design issues, and answer questions for customers and contractors. The piece drawings are used to create landmark buildings of lasting strength and beauty.
Requirements
-Degree from technical school or equivalent experience.
-Revit experience preferred, not required.
-Excellent attendance.
-Ability to work overtime and/or extended schedule as needed to meet deadlines. Hours typically Monday through Friday, Saturdays as needed 40-45 hours per week.
-Ability to occasionally work near moving objects and in climate conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity and exposure to dust and concrete.
-Safety/Steel toe boots and safety glasses required when working in the plant.
