Gage Marine is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who will play a crucial role in developing and executing effective marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and generate leads.
This position is responsible for creating content-driven lead and demand generation strategies, as well as executing the visual and written elements that support those strategies. You will collaborate with our Marketing and Sales Teams, taking ownership of various projects, including managing our boat inventory, website, CRM system, social media channels, email marketing, SMS text campaigns, and our relationship with paid advertising agencies.

Develop and Implement Digital Marketing Strategies and Campaigns:
- Develop the strategy for content and user journey campaigns and create the needed assets to align with the overall organization’s revenue objectives
- Work with external vendors and ad agencies on all marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with lead-generation goals and reporting
- Identify target audiences and devise strategies to effectively reach and engage them
- Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director and cross-functional teams to align digital marketing strategies with overall business objectives and priorities
- Create Marketing Content:
- Identify strategies to improve our SEO and demand generation
- Design, write, and create engaging and high-quality content for digital channels, including website, social media, advertising, blogs, video, and email campaigns
- Combine content creation with a design eye to produce visually appealing and impactful materials
- Maintain a consistent voice and design across all digital channels, in line with the Brand and Style Guide
- Manage and work with on-site content creators to develop video and photo assets for use in marketing materials including boat walk-through videos, social media posts, and online boat listings
- Manage Online Presence:
- Oversee the company's website(s) and ensure it is optimized for search engines (SEO)
- Optimize website layouts, navigation, inventory feeds, forms, CTAs, and visuals to enhance the user experience through working with vendors or creating yourself
- Ensure the website is responsive, mobile-friendly, and aligned with the overall brand identity
- Continuously evaluate and improve the website's design and usability based on user feedback and data insights
- Agency Management:
- Work closely with any ad or marketing agency; provide content as needed; strategize and hold accountable for all related marketing
- Social Media Management:
- Create monthly content calendars for related social media accounts
- Create content (photos and videos) or work with content creator for social posting
- Respond to comments, messages, and leads
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices
- Boost posts and/or manage and create social media ads
- Analyze Reporting:
- Deliver reports on monthly analytics across web and social platforms and advise necessary improvements
- Determine return on investment into certain internet platforms and determine which efforts yield the best results
- Manage sales leads and pull monthly lead reports for the sales team; understand and explain to all stakeholders where and how leads are coming in
- Manage Boat Inventory:
- Manage the boat inventory for salesforce, website, etc., by using high-quality, up-to-date photos, videos, and copy
- Ensure all listings are up-to-date and accurate based on information from the Sales Team
- Optimize boat listings for maximum views, engagement, and conversions
- Generate and Manage Leads:
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into sales opportunities through effective lead-generation strategies
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales materials, presentations, and proposals
- Managing Gage Marine’s CRM System - Salesforce
- Create trigger and drip campaigns tailored to specific segments of the database, along with demonstrated experience in managing database creation and segmentation to enhance campaign effectiveness and performance optimization
- Event Management:
- Represent the company at boating industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Some travel is required
- You love (and are good at) creating content, including writing blogs, making videos, and graphic design
- You are a skilled editor, including having an eye for quality content
- You are outgoing and enjoy talking and working with people
- You are organized, goal-oriented, and good at time management
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- 3 years of work experience in marketing
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, trends, and best practices
- Experience with SEO, paid search, social media management and Meta Ads, email marketing, and content creation, including photography and videography
- Proficiency in graphic design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Proficiency in web analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Experience working with CRM Systems, preferably Salesforce
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail
