A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MARKETING INTERN
Work with the Marketing Manager on marketing campaigns, including but not limited to developing a content calendar, creating the imagery and copy for social media posts, content creation and photography, website updates, campaign development, and reviewing marketing analytics.
PRIMARY TASKS
- Take photos/videos at PIER 290
- Take photos/videos on boat tours for Lake Geneva Cruise Line
- Take photos/videos of boats and the lakefront for Gage Marine
- Take photos/videos for the Gage Lake Life Store
- Take photos/videos for the Lake Life Catering
- Attend events to capture content, as needed
- Create social media content (posts, videos) - with the guidance and approval of the Marketing Manager
- Pull marketing analytics and monthly reporting
- Update PIER 290 website event calendar
- Help with monthly employee enews
- Work on marketing campaigns
- Help with research projects, as needed
- Provide graphic design assistance for print material, digital marketing, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MARKETING INTERN
- Understanding of social media
- Interest in marketing
- General computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
