Retail Store Manager
Lead the charge in enhancing customer experiences and driving sales. Manage daily operations, develop business strategies, and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory, create engaging displays, train staff, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Report to the District Manager on sales efforts and successes.
- Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, and other Sales locations for timely billing, adequate inventory levels, and accurate delivery.
- Develop the retail space to its fullest potential and create attractive displays.
- Process orders in the Point-of-Sale system and handle payments.
- Control store overhead and operating costs.
- Maintain a professional image and a clean, safe store environment.
- Identify customer requirements and ensure availability of merchandise and services.
- Implement security systems and measures to protect merchandise.
Requirements:
- An associate degree or equivalent plus 5 years of experience in sales and administration in a retail environment, preferably in construction trades.
- Organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Background in Masonry and Concrete construction industry is desirable.
