Shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm (2 pm on Friday) PRN
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including urgent care and telehealth. This role requires experience in treating patients across the lifespan and proficiency in treating acute complaints. Must be comfortable with basic suturing, casting, and splinting. Must be effective in working collaboratively to ensure comprehensive patient management and continuity of care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses across diverse patient populations.
- Provide urgent care services, including the treatment of minor injuries and illnesses.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote patient care when necessary.
- Perform medical procedures such as suturing, casting, and splinting.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and provide strong continuity of care.
- Engage in utilization management to ensure appropriate healthcare delivery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited program
- Must be board certified in Family Medicine
- Must have current DEA and Utah state license
- 2 years experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine settings preferred
- Current credentialing with major Utah payors including Select Health preferred
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional patient care.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
