Description
GAI Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor / Resident Project Representative to perform construction inspection on a variety of Transportation projects. The candidate will interact with clients, contractors, and the public in meetings and other forms of communication. The successful candidate will be expected to provide documentation of construction progress through daily reports, status reports, and other forms of data reporting.
Required Qualifications :
- Requires thorough knowledge of transportation construction and quality control practices.
- Must be knowledgeable in the Indiana Department of Transportation, Indianapolis Department of Public Works or other governmental agency specifications, standards, and inspection requirements.
- Must be able to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and other technical documents.
- Inspect work of contractors and document project progress and quality of work.
- Must have the ability to measure and calculate quantities of materials.
- Perform material testing.
