Position Description
SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Principal of the School perform diverse and complex administrative support duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
2. Assists auditors and state officials in the review of office records.
3. Operates the computer system to manage all areas of need including financial and work processing.
4. Works with others in a cordial and professional manner.
5. Performs back-up functions as required.
6. Deposits all monies.
7. Prepares purchase orders and processes invoices for payment.
8. Keeps accurate record of deposits, expenditures and current balances of each school account.
9. Prepares monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
10. Maintains record of reimbursements due from central office and special education office.
11. Prepares reports of ticket sales for each home event.
12. Prepares reports for play-off events and issues checks for opponent, region and GHS shares for such events.
13. Prepares gate boxes (change, etc.).
14. Maintains records on all athletic injuries.
15. Fills out insurance claim forms for athletic claims.
16. Maintains record of security services, coordinating payment with central office.
17. Maintains confidentiality.
18. Works well with administrators, teachers and staff.
19. Knows about state and federal laws pertaining to money.
20. MUNIS Expert.
21. OCR compliance (TITLE IX.)
22. Performs other duties as assigned by principal.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated accounting skills
- Computer skills
- Above average communication skills
- Must be reliable, flexible, and resourceful
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Routine physical activities associated with typical office setting. Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling and repetitive fine motor activities. Vision, hearing and verbal communications are essential functions of this position.
