As a MDS Coordinator (RN - Registered Nurse), you will:
- Provide leadership to interdisciplinary team for management of the MDS, Clinical Reimbursement, Care Plan, and Utilization Management processes in accordance with current federal, state, and local requirements and regulations and company policies and procedures
- Ensure that the MDS/RAI deadlines and accuracy requirements are met while ensuring that coding most appropriately captures each patient's acuity and needs for accurate and optimal reimbursement
- Assist Center leadership with Quality Improvement efforts, staff education, and regulatory compliance as it relates to the RAI process, Quality Care, Reimbursement, Quality Measures, and Quality Reporting requirements
Qualifications for a MDS Coordinator (RN - Registered Nurse):
- Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- Current CPR Certification
- RAC-CT certification within one year of employment if not certified at the time of hire (required)
- Significant MDS 3.0 experience (strongly preferred)
- Long-Term/Rehab/Memory Care experience (preferred)
