At Gainesville Pediatric Dentistry (GPD) Smile, we are committed to providing exceptional dental care to children in a warm, welcoming environment. Our practice has grown steadily over the years, and we are excited to expand our team. We currently have two dedicated Pediatric Dentist Doctor owners who are looking for an enthusiastic pediatric dentist to join the team.
About the Position:
We are seeking a full-time or part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team. Initially, this role will be an associate position, with an opportunity for a gradual transition into a leadership role. Over the a period of time, the current owners are looking to reduce their chair side schedule and be more of a mentor to the new associate.
Compensation:
- Salary potential: $250K-$350K
- Paid on a daily rate
- Full-time: Medical, Dental, 401K, etc.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) and Reimbursement for Licensures
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality dental care for pediatric patients, from infants to teens, including those with special needs.
- Perform routine and specialized procedures including exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
- Experience or willingness to perform sedation dentistry (oral sedation and IV sedation).
- Participate in hospital dentistry at Haymarket Surgical Center (2-3 cases per day, 2 times a month).
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of RDAs and front-office staff to ensure smooth patient care and office flow.
- Participate in clinical and business mentorship, developing both your clinical skills and understanding of the business side of dentistry.
Requirements:
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Pediatric Dentistry residency and board certification or eligibility.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Some experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply and will be mentored.
- Personality: Looking for someone with a passion for working with children, a friendly demeanor, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Future Goals: Strong interest in ownership and long-term growth within the practice.
Office Details:
- Number of offices: 1
- Clinical Ops: 3 ops for clinical care, 7 hygiene bays.
- Technologies/Specialties: Invisalign, laser therapy (including frenectomies).
- Sedation: In-office oral sedation (2-3 cases per day).
- Hospital Dentistry: 2 times per month at Haymarket Surgical Center.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time or part-time hours
- Office hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Friday options available, flexible).
