Requirements:
- 2 years experience, Credentialed Vet Tech, license must be current
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic & excellent nursing skills
- Ability to successfully restrain animals
- Ability to administer injections and medications
- Able to lift over 50 pounds
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule & Saturdays are a requirement
- Must be dependable, compassionate, & a team player
- Good communication skills are a must
Gainesville Veterinary Hospital is actively seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Credentialed Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork in-house, Abaxis lab equipment and Avimark knowledge preferred, experienced in properly handling and restraining animals, knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understands the importance of client education, able to confidently dispense and administer medication prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and we encourage our staff to do the same.
