We are looking for a data-driven Paid Media Associate to join the Gainful team. This is a New York City based role and we’re looking for somebody who will be in the office 3 times a week collaborating with the content creation team, partnering with leadership on execution, and reporting on daily media performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign Management
- Responsible for programming, executing, and optimizing digital paid media campaigns across various platforms (including, but not limited to, Google, Meta, and TikTok) to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
- Hands-on management of end-to-end campaign lifecycles from building to reporting.
- Conduct A/B and multivariate testing of ads, creative, targeting, landing pages, etc. to inform future content creation and maximize campaign performance.
- Conduct audits and provide creative recommendations based on digital buy execution.
- Collaborate with the CRM team to develop first party audience strategies and deploy in platform.
- Architect brand and non-brand campaigns across both evergreen strategies and key, seasonal periods of growth.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting to drive highly effective PPC campaigns.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to meet KPIs (e.g., ROAS, CPC, CTR, and conversion rates).
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of paid media campaigns.
- Ongoing performance analysis to identify short-term opportunities and long-term trends.
- Prepare regular reports on paid media performance and suggest improvements that can be made.
General
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital advertising, ensuring that strategies are innovative and competitive.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Marketing or other media-related bachelor’s degree
- Marketing internship or other relevant digital marketing experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Tiktok Ads, and other paid media channels
- Experience working on end-to-end media campaigns with keen attention to detail
- Ability to provide insights rooted in data that can help inform future decisions on creative, channel mix, budget allocation, etc.
- Ability to demonstrate how campaign optimizations impact ad performance, both proactively and retroactively
- Strong affinity for process, efficiency, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Google Analytics, Converge, or other analytics tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- A hunger to learn and grow
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills

Compensation:
- Base salary: $60,000 - $75,000
- Additional compensation types: Equity
