Our client, a large non-profit financial institution, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate & Foreclosure Paralegal to join their team! This position is hybrid with 3 days based in their wonderful Manhattan office. The firm offers excellent benefits!
Job Responsibilities
- Review and organize loan files to prepare for referral to outside counsel
- Summarize and index physical and electronic documents
- Proofread draft documents for completeness and accuracy
- Maintain loan / legal action status tracker
- Use ACRIS or other public sites to locate recorded documents
- Data entry as needed to ensure proper record of electronic loan files
- Analyze foreclosure documents (mortgage agreements, guaranties and title reports)
- Track and pay invoices for department
- Coordinate, draft, and document Maturity Extension Agreements
- Prepare litigation and loan closing packages as needed
- Assist with loan transactions
- Conduct closing of participation sales as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Salary Range : $75,000 - $110,000 based on experience
