You will be responsible for translating business needs into reporting requirements and collaborating with staff and client to ensure that operational and client reporting is delivered successfully. In addition, the BA will use system reports and analyses to identify potentially problematic data, make corrections, and determine root cause for data problems and suggest possible solutions.

• Analyze and document current business processes and make recommendations to improve business processes to solve complex Healthcare initiatives
• Be a supportive bridge between clients, project managers and technical personnel to define, track and communicate business requirements and their expected impact to provide quality solutions for the client's needs
• Ensure that the "intent of change" is carried out through every project phase by participating in all reviews and inspections
• Create, execute or analyze basic test scenarios to verify that client requirements are built into the system design
• Provide business solutions, process improvements, business case and change consulting to the external client at a functional and senior management level. The business domain includes Healthcare business processes, specifically focused on Medicaid and Medicare claims processing
• Interface with the technical team to ensure designs are understood and properly implemented

What we're looking for

• Three or more years of experience translating technical goals and requirements into real action for clients
• 3 or more years of associated work experience in a software development environment including knowledge of basic computer programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing
• Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel in a digestible way
• Practical ability with Microsoft Office as well as SQL
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Eagerness to learn and share as an active member of a team

What you should expect in this role

• Fully remote options from most US locations and territories
• Flexibility with job hours as sometimes overtime is required to meet deadlines and support production processing. Weekend work may also be necessary
• 0-10% chance of traveling
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $55,600.00 - $79,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
