Your role in our mission
Help create the power in Gainwell’s processes as we develop purpose-built technologies and solutions that yield better health and human services outcomes.
- Share your expertise as you support the Business Process Services team in Provider Enrollment processing that adheres to policy guidelines
- Meet production and quality requirements established by clients for timely application processing
- Use policy guidelines and criteria established by leadership to evaluate an application and make an adjudication decision
What we're looking for
Qualifications:
Knowledge:
- Fundamental concepts and principles in the medical and/or insurance fields; Medicaid Insurance Program preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Basic reading, critical thinking, and analytical skills to evaluate provider enrollment application processing decisions.
- Basic computer use skills.
- Ability to multi-task across multiple applications to work efficiently.
- Ability to work independently to meet individual production goals.
- Ability to work as a team.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Provide customer service (inbound/outbound calls or email) to assist with provider inquiries or gather necessary documentation and information for enrollment or revalidation efforts.
- Assist providers and facilities by providing training and support with enrollment portal log-in, account access, and navigation.
Enrollment Processing:
- Process provider enrollment or revalidation applications in the Medicaid Insurance Program for healthcare providers and facilities.
- Verify the credentials of healthcare providers (e.g., education, licensure) to meet regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with providers and other required contacts to provide support and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the provider enrollment process.
Data Management:
- Review and maintain provider data in the enrollment database and files, ensuring all information is current and accurate for billing and validation purposes.
What you should expect in this role
- On-site during 3-month probationary period with potential to move to a hybrid schedule.

The pay range for this position is $33,500.00 - $47,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
