Summary
The Documentation and Training specialist will partner with another Specialist to lead and support learning events, conduct research, produce resources and guidance, and facilitate ongoing knowledge base development and engagement . Your role in our mission
Provider Update creation and distribution
Trains operations, call center, Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Humans Services (EOHHS), providers, and other state defined end-user stakeholders on program policy, benefits, services, and the RI Medicaid and tools.
Develops, coordinates and delivers training material and schedule
Hosts training events virtually or in-person and assumes responsibility for the training environment and equipment Coordinates the updating of all training materials (user manuals, desk level procedure, eLearning, PowerPoints, etc.)
Coordinates with internal departments to identify areas of training needs
Creates and delivers role-specific training materials for the Call Center and other internal teams
Provides training status reports to leadership
Supports the writing of Frequently Asked Questions and posting to portal as necessary
Coordinates with state on training events as appropriate
Maintains and publishes internal and external reference material, requires working with product owners, business analyst, and/or subject matter experts to understand new processes
Provide Call Center support during call centers bimonthly team meeting and in emergency situations What we're looking for
Self motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and work under aggressive time constraints
Ability to apply previously learned knowledge or skills to future situations/issues
Teaching and facilitation skills
Ability to determine training objectives
Good presentation skills to present to management and customers
Experience with training methodologies preferred
Excellent Microsoft Suite skills What you should expect in this role
Hybrid – 100 % in office during training and then 25% of time once training is complete
Work from Home; reliable high-speed internet connectivity is required
Dedicated workspace necessary.

The pay range for this position is $54,300.00 - $77,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
