Summary

The Call Center Representative is responsible for assisting with incoming telephone calls regarding the KY Medical Fee for Service Program. The Customer Support team are the Provider Community’s primary source of billing information, and as such, maintains a high level of quality and timely response. The ability to work cohesively with other staff, as well as being able to work effectively as part of a team, are essential to the success of the selected candidate.

Your role in our mission

• Answer incoming telephone calls providing billing assistance for the KY Medical Assistance Program.
• Complete online as well as handwritten mail correspondence.
• Extensive PC skills.
• Time management and organizational skills
• Work shift hours 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST, with two fifteen-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch.
  
  

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma/proficiency or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years Medicaid, Customer Service experience, or other health care billing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated strong written/oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated person exerts assertiveness.
• Successful applicant must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  
  

What you should expect in this role

• This position has a pay rate of $14.50 hourly - 40hrs per week
• This is a Full-Time position - Monday through Friday - Hours of Operation are 9:30am to 6:00pm EST
• Ability to interact with customers and agencies to interpret Medicaid coverage.
• Ability to read, understands, and interprets complex regulatory and procedural documents.
• Ability to work with a team to accomplish team objectives.
• Multi-task
• Responsible individual that keeps their commitments and provides excellent follow-up.
  
  

The pay range for this position is $29,100.00 - $41,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
