Summary

Gainwell Technologies is responsible for all Provider Enrollment functions for Maine's Medicaid Program, also known as MaineCare.

The primary role of an Associate Business Process Service for the Maine Provider Enrollment Department is to process Provider Enrollment Applications and other documents relating to provider management such as changes of address, terminations, or other activities that would change a provider's status within the Medicaid / MaineCare program.

Help create the power in Gainwell's processes as we develop purpose-built technologies and solutions that yield better health and human services outcomes.

  • Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely enrollment and maintenance of all Medicaid / MaineCare Provider Enrollment functions.
  • Processing and validating all enrollment and management for compliance with all Affordable Care Act Provider Screening Regulations.
  • Data entry of provider demographics into the Provider Enrollment Application.
  • Interfacing with providers to answer inquiries or gather further information regarding a provider's enrollment or maintenance request.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of the Maine Medicaid / MaineCare program and policies
  • Previous provider enrollment and maintenance of provider information for a Medicaid program, or other healthcare organization(s).
  • Ability to process enrollment and maintenance according to documented business requirements and performance standards.
  • Ability to professionally interact with co-workers, leadership, MaineCare staff, and the provider community.
  • Ability to problem solve and research independently provider enrollment and maintenance business requirements.

  • The pay range for this position is $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
