Your role in our mission
- Utilize multiple websites to review applications and determine compliance with state requirements.
- Conduct outreach to providers via phone and email to obtain necessary and accurate documentation for enrollment completion.
- Collaborate with the client as needed to review applications and secure necessary approvals.
- Maintain and update accurate provider records, including licenses, Social Security Numbers, Tax ID numbers, and other relevant details.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to established timelines with minimal supervision.
- Independently research and resolve provider issues or inquiries, escalating complex cases as necessary.
- Develop a working knowledge of Mississippi Medicaid policies and apply this understanding to ensure efficient processes and compliance with service level agreements. Training will be provided.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is acceptable, while a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of experience in a customer service role, with a preference for provider customer service or provider enrollment.
- Office Skills: Previous office or clerical experience required.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in healthcare, health insurance, provider enrollment, credentialing, or related fields is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using a PC with Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
- Harver Assessment Requirement: As part of our interview process, all candidates must complete the Harver Assessment. This assessment helps us evaluate key competencies relevant to the role, including communication skills, multitasking abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
- This is an on-site position based in Jackson, Mississippi. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.
