Business Title:
- Maintenance Mechanic

Job Purpose:
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, presses, conveyors, and other production machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems malfunctions.
- Repair and replace faulty components, such as motors, bearings, gears, belts, pumps, valves, and wiring.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs and modifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment history.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Communicate effectively with production personnel and other maintenance team members to coordinate repairs and minimize disruptions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Experience with preventative maintenance procedures
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
