Project Manager – R&D Product Development
Regular Position, Full-Time (On-site/Remote)
We are seeking an energized, experienced, and dynamic R&D project management leader to join our global R&D team. In this role, you will drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful development and launch of strategic and innovative initiatives. You will also be instrumental in enhancing our global product development stage gate process by leading cross-functional teams to clearly define key project deliverables, improve process efficiencies, and enhance output quality, ultimately ensuring projects are delivered with greater speed and quality.

Requirements:
We are searching for a candidate with:
- Superior communication skills to effectively:
- ensure alignment across departments for a common set of goals
- collate and present complex technical information in a simple, digestible manner
- Managing conflict across teams and facilitate expeditious decisions best of the business
- communicate at all levels of the organization
- create excellent presentations with Microsoft suite of tools
- Strong displayed experience managing multiple R&D projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in developing and managing detailed project schedules, including milestones and key deliverables.
- Strong risk management and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Experience in program governance, including establishing standards, processes, templates, and tools across multiple projects
Required Work Experience:
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 8 years of managing multiple complex technical projects.
- Experience in a product development environment, preferably with global scope in technical & engineering businesses.
Preferred qualifications:
- PMP Certification desired
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own project completion and execution, on time and on budget
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple locations, business units, and teams.
- Lead and document project meetings, including key decisions and minutes.
- Always ensure understanding and visibility of the critical path for all projects
- Oversee project tasks, ensuring accountability for quality and timeliness from all functions.
- Identify risks to project goals and implement mitigating actions, escalating issues as needed.
- Create and deliver presentations and dashboards for stakeholder reporting and decision-making.
- Develop templates and process improvements for the stage gate process and tools.
- Curate, prioritize, and initiate new projects with stakeholders.
- Act as facilitator, organize and lead project steering committee for project milestones
- Lead projects with both waterfall and agile methodologies (hardware & software)
