The Sales Administrative Assistant is to monitor and forward customer information to the required departments, answer emails, track orders, maintain electronic filing system, retrieve customer information and send follow-ups, perform general office duties, and perform additional administrative duties as required.
Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year related working experience.
- Exceptional work ethic, time management, and organization skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- High attention to detail and analysis of information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision when required.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to exercise creativity and innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Perform general office duties.
- Maintain electronic filing system, customer correspondents and distribute information.
- Communicate order status to internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing.
- Aid various company departments as to status of current projects.
- Enter change orders requests that require modification of company products and equipment.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements and specifications.
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Compensation Details
- Compensation for New York City Based Applicants: $22.80-$26.82 per hour (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and in keeping with local legislation).
Position Details
- Regular, temporary for 6 months
- Day shifts, generally 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Based in the Bronx, New York
