Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2-4 years of proven experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer, preferably in a related industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Numerate with good financial acumen.
• Proficient in process simulation and in motion time systems.
• Strong CNC programming skills.
• Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Strong background in CAD/CAM programming.
• Good Project/ Program Management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Initiative-taker with good interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed to various locations within North America
  
  

Duties And Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Analyzing existing manufacturing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement in terms of labor productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Conducting business case analysis related to capex projects (data collection and data mining).
• Leading the tactical implementation of critical equipment solutions to improve labor productivity in all Vantage locations.
• Optimizing existing data analytic tools and establishing methodologies that allow performance improvements to become measurable.
• Developing plant/line simulation models for labor productivity and can be used to justify capital expenditures.
• Function as a liaison between engineering, production, and other departments to ensure an integrated approach to process improvement.
