What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer III position at Gala & Associates Inc.?
Responsibilities :
- Lead our Electrical Department and provide technical guidance to our Electrical department.
- Assist in preparing analysis, design and documentation of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems.
- Assist in preparing the schematic designs, construction documents and specifications in compliance with owners requirements and ensure governmental code compliance.
- Review design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates.
- Supervise construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, conduct field / site surveys and observations, attend coordination meetings.
- Collaborate and coordinate design with engineers, architects, designers, owners, product manufacturers, vendors and building contractors as required.
- Responsible for insuring accuracy and content of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines.
- Serve as project manager on projects, coordinating electrical scope and leading electrical staff.
- Maintain continuing professional education in discipline.
- Conduct site visits for owners facility and verification of services.
