Galactic Advisors is seeking security professionals with IT or MSP experience to join our team and support our Galacticos with their IT needs. You will also collaborate with our partners in the MSP space. We are looking for a Security Awareness Advocate for both our internal team and our partners. As a Galactic Internal IT Administrator, you will be at the forefront of assisting our internal employees with any IT-related needs and ensuring our security posture is top-notch. You will work closely with fellow Galacticos to provide expert guidance and support. You also understand compliance and can explain it in an approachable way to fellow Galacticos.
Educating the Galactic Way :
- Assist in remediation of internal security assessments.
- Review mandatory security training assignments given to Galacticos and ensure 100 percent compliance.
- Conduct regular meetings with channels to discuss internal security posture.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks for Galacticos including equipment purchase and setup and access or removal from applications.
- Monitoring of daily IT admin tasks – troubleshooting requests, audit, and alerting.
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative ideas that simplify and make security approachable and enjoyable for Galacticos and our clients.
- Compliance-meister. Full understanding of the why and how behind it.
