Role: Full Stack Java Developer (12 plus years)

Location: Lansing, MI (onsite)

We are seeking an experienced technical lead who can perform On Call Manager role to lead our on call team, ensuring seamless 24/7 support to our customers. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in on call rotations, providing hands on support and guidance.

Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

Profound insight of Java and J2EE technologies

Versatile to quickly understand and work on any programming language or technology.

Exposure to Insurance Domain is preferred.

Should have experience in handling distributed and mainframe application Production Support Issues (Basic mainframe knowledge is preferred)

Understand scheduling tools on how application batch cycles are scheduled, job dependencies. Knowledge of AppDynamics or Dynatrace to triage application issues and performance bottlenecks.

Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and tools (e.g., Remedy, JIRA, ServiceNow)

Should be able to provide RCA for recurring issues and solutions.

Provides 24*7 on call support on rotational basis. Key Technologies

Front End (JAVA): JSF, JSP, Javascript, jQuery,HTML.

Backend (JAVA): J2EE, Servlets, JSF, PrimeFaces, JNDI, JDBC

Services: Rest and SOAP based services

Scheduling: TWS, Autosys

Basic Mainframe skills

Server/Platform: JBOSS

Other languages/skills: SQL, Perl, Unix Commands, Unix Scripting.

Dev. Tools: Eclipse, Maven, Bitbucket, git, Jenkins, Automic ARA, Artifactory, Aqua Data Studio.

CR/Documentation: Remedy, Confluence, Jira

Databases: DB2 (Mainframe z/OS and midrange) Requirements:

Overall experience: 6-8 years

Strong development background (3 years in key technologies) and support experience.
