What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Designer position at Galactic Network Integrators?
Research, design, develop, edit, and maintain instructional content via multiplemodalities consistent with adult learning principles.
Develop learning experiences and programs with well-defined learningobjectives that are aligned with business performance goals.
Lead and coach other learning team members on instructional designapproaches.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders at all levels anddisciplines to develop educational content.
Engage project team and stakeholders to define training program / project goalsand objectives, complete audience analysis, and obtain approval of final trainingdeliverables.
Provide project management for training initiatives that are small-to-large scaleand / or small-to-large scope in complexity.
Review evaluation data to assess the effectiveness of training programs andimplement recommendations for improvements.
Conduct train-the-trainer classes, super-user classes, and / or end-user classes asneeded.
Develop communication strategies for training programs.
Develop and execute training plans aligned with organizational initiatives andbusiness performance goals.
Combine instructional design principles, advanced adult-learning theory, andtechnology to design and develop innovative solutions for training projects.REQUIREMENTS10 years’ experience in training design and development with a minimum of 5 yearsof leading instructional design efforts, creating various training curriculums,programs, and materials.Degree in Instructional Systems, Instructional Design, Learning andDevelopment, Education, or related field of study is required.Advanced technical proficiency with eLearning content authoring tools (e.g.,Articulate 360 suite, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems(LMS).Demonstrated experience leading training projects from inception tocompletion with minimal supervision.Demonstrated expert application and understanding of instructional design,adult learning principles, learning methodologies, and organizationaldevelopment techniques.Proven ability to lead projects, maintain a strong sense of team collaboration,and meet deadlines in a dynamic consulting environment subject toimpromptu changes in schedules and priorities.Working knowledge of eLearning content authoring tools and processes.Demonstrated and proven organizational, problem-solving, analytical, andproject management skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in writing originalcontent and editing legacy materials.Technical writing experience is preferred.Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, Teams, and Forms.Galactic Network Integrators, Inc. | 505-508-5401#J-18808-Ljbffr
