Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Systems Manager SME at Vandenberg Space Force – Lompoc, CA.

The Systems Manager (SME) leads a team of systems engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of systems including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and cloud services. The manager is responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to support business and technology goals.

· 15 years’ experience

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
