POSITION TITLE: Industrial Production Manager
POSITION DUTIES:
- Direct or coordinate the management and organization of production (product scheduling, supply and inventory of raw materials) using the AS400 system of the Company.
- Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints. Develop strategies to optimize production efficiency, minimize waste and ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate personnel decisions with human resources department including hiring, onboarding, training, evaluating, discharging and assessing grievances.
- Develop and plan budget.
- Coordinate cost control programs including analyze production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize expenses without compromising quality and productivity.
- Review and continuously seek opportunities to improve production processes by identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize workflow.
- Prepare and maintain production reports.
- Confer and collaborate with various departments, such as engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and efficient production processes.
- Communicate production goals, progress, and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in business administration, accounting, finance or related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 12 months Industrial Production Manager, Finance Manager, Financial Reporting Manager, Senior Accountant or closely related occupation
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 12 months of experience must include: performing stock closing, production scheduling, raw materials purchasing with AS400 IT tool; managing financial analysis of key production indicators within an industrial food manufacturing setting using the tool BI.
- Knowledge of the Visual volta Finance system to perform the monthly closing.
RATE OF PAY: $101,941 to $102K/year
HOURS: Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5pm – 40 hours a week
