Job Title: QA Engineer
Loc: San Diego, CA (Onsite)
Job Description:
NOTE: Must have Python, Shell Scripting, testing on Validation of Hardware writ, displays, sensors.
Objective:
PSQ Displays Team is seeking a QA engineer to help validate Display/ALS Sensor HW and SW features on Apple products.
Scope
Task includes manual validation of display/sensor features, execute test cases, develop test cases, collect data across Apple products, and report to Apple Test Engineers.
Assumptions
• Apple to define scope of work and provide sign-off on requirements
• Vendor to document all requirements, features and enhancements
• Vendor to provide weekly reporting
• Apple to sign-off on deliverables
• Vendor team will not have access to production data.
• Onsite role, working from designated lab 5 days a week.
Requirements
• 2 year work experience with Python and Shell Script
• Experience with testing consumer electronics
• Experience with maintaining HW/SW automation
• Experience with QA testing, including identifying regressions, generate steps to reproduce issue and summarize findings
• Experience with data analysis in Python, Matlab or equivalent

Success Criteria/Definition of Done
• Ability to understand and interpret automation scripts
• Execution of test cases both manual and automated scripts
• Ability to generate different types of reports based on issue/problem
• Ability to engage in discussions with the Apple Test Engineers on the testing results
• Ability to capture quality issues and identify regressions.
