Description
The maintenance supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of engineers. Coordinating the repair and maintenance of the property. Ensuring proper equipment function, developing preventative maintenance schedules, conducting inspections, and managing the overall maintenance operations of the property. While adhering to safety standards and budget guidelines: requiring strong leadership skills and technical knowledge of various maintenance practices.
Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, Assign tasks to team members, and manage work orders.
Staff Management:
Supervise and train maintenance team members, ensuring they follow proper procedures and safety protocols.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Monitor maintenance expenses, manage inventory, and work within budget constraints.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Provide technical support to maintenance staff, troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and perform repairs when necessary.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or specialized maintenance needs. Submitting all invoices to accounting on time and complete with minimal to no errors.
Compliance and Safety.
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and maintenance standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs and equipment status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years in property maintenance management.
- 2 years in a maintenance supervisory position.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
Salary : $20 - $25
