Duties
- Professionally greet guests and welcome them to our restaurant.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, adhering to restaurant standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash register transactions, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with cash register operations for efficient payment processing.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
