What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef position at Galaxy?
Patio is about to open and we are looking for one more person so we're ready to go.
Galaxy is looking for an experienced chef to round out our back of the house.
Must have at least a year of kitchen experience. We make everything in house so experience in is a scratch kitchen is a huge plus. Collaborate with other team members to create regular menu specials . Potential to step into a leadership role for the right person.
We are open Wednesday through Saturday, 5-9, so no late nights. Tuesday is low key prep day.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen.
- Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance dining experiences.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage food preparation and service efficiently.
- Handle food items safely and responsibly, ensuring proper storage and handling practices.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
