Job Description
The Low Voltage Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise or project network and low voltage systems, including structured cabling, network equipment, security surveillance, and access control systems. The engineer ensures system stability while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement low voltage systems, including structured cabling, data center infrastructure, network equipment, surveillance systems, and access control systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (switches, routers) to ensure a secure and stable network environment.
- Install, debug, and provide daily maintenance for access control systems, public address systems, and conference systems.
- Troubleshoot low voltage system issues, handle emergency repairs, and provide technical support and optimization solutions.
- Strictly follow safety operation standards, ensuring that cabling and installations meet compliance and safety requirements.
Job Requirements
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 years of experience in network cabling or low voltage engineering.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with structured cabling standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC) and installation regulations.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, switches, and routers, with the ability to collaborate with network engineers.
- Experience in low voltage system installation (e.g., surveillance, access control, public address, and conference systems).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA) are preferred.
- Language Requirements: Fluent in both Chinese and English.
- Work Environment: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work at heights or on-site construction projects.
- Location: Greater New York Area & Geogia, with hybrid work options available.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
