SUMMARY:
The Director of Marketing is responsible for overseeing the marketing efforts for Gale Miami Hotels & Residences, the restaurants within the establishment and conference center. The Director of Marketing will need to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to drive revenue and brand awareness in the competitive hospitality industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop Marketing Plan & Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive marketing plans for Gale Miami Hotels & Residences, and the food and beverage outlets within the hotel, including the onsite conference center, aligning with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
- Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the brand image of the hotel, each restaurant and the conference center, ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and customer experience across all marketing channels.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives for the hotel, food and beverage offerings and conference center, including website management, email marketing campaigns, social media presence, onsite digital screens, hotel APP, and online advertising, to effectively reach target audiences and drive engagement.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling and relevant content for marketing materials, including promotional materials, blog posts, and social media content, highlighting the unique offerings of the hotel, the restaurants and conference center.
- Public Relations: Cultivate relationships with local media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to generate positive publicity and media coverage for Gale Miami Hotels & Residences, food and beverage offerings and conference center.
- Event Marketing: Plan and execute events, promotions, and special culinary experiences to attract guests and conference attendees, driving foot traffic to Gale Miami Hotels & Residences, restaurants and maximizing utilization of the conference center facilities.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities for revenue growth and differentiation in both the hotel sector, food and beverage sector and the conference center market.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives for both the hotel, restaurants and conference center, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and feedback to foster a collaborative and high-performing team dedicated to promoting Gale Miami Hotel & Residences, the food and beverage offerings and conference center services.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 7 years of marketing experience.
- Digital advertising and social media management experience.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro) and Sketch.
- Strong attention to detail, and a strong sense of what will be "on-brand."
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, adapt, and problem-solve.
- Flexible to the hotel's changing needs and priorities.
- Condo/Hotel experience preferred.
- Experience with pre-opening preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
EDUCATION:
- A degree in Art/Graphic Design/Visual Communications/related field, or equivalent experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (preferred).
