Position Overview
We are seeking a curious, action-oriented, and gritty Recruiter to join our team in Collierville, TN. This is a full-cycle recruiting role that spans both retained and contingent search, offering direct client and candidate engagement at all stages of the process. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial instincts with emotional intelligence and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where quality, speed, and thoughtfulness matter.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping our clients’ talent strategies while advancing the careers of high-impact professionals across underwriting, claims, product, and executive leadership functions.
Key Responsibilities Search Execution
- Manage full-cycle search engagements from intake through close, including intake calls, candidate evaluation, client updates, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
- Execute both retained and contingent searches with agility and professionalism.
- Own the candidate experience, ensuring a thoughtful, high-touch process.
- Partner closely with Talent Sourcers to refine search strategy and target profiles based on market feedback.
Candidate Development
- Engage with candidates through personalized outreach and direct conversation.
- Conduct initial screening and behavioral interviews to assess qualifications, motivations, and alignment.
- Provide detailed candidate write-ups and summaries for client review.
- Coach candidates through interview preparation and offer decision-making.
Client Communication
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with clients throughout the search.
- Deliver regular updates with clear data, insights, and recommendations.
- Help shape client expectations around talent market realities and strategic tradeoffs.
Search Strategy & Market Intelligence
- Develop a nuanced understanding of each client's business, culture, and goals.
- Gather and synthesize market insights to inform search direction.
- Track and analyze candidate pipelines, market trends, and competitive intel.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in an agency or search firm setting.
- Experience managing both retained and contingent searches is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a consultative approach.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and adjusting course based on new information.
- Natural relationship-builder with a high EQ and commercial mindset.
- Proficiency or ability to learn platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Loxo, and ATS/CRM systems.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
