Job Summary And Qualifications
Position Goal: The Digital Marketing Associate will support the continued organic marketing optimization of Galen’s digital experience for prospective students. The Digital Marketing Associate will continue to stay educated on digital marketing trends, with a heavy focus on event marketing, SEO and inbound tactics to generate student leads. Key responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of key lead cultivation tasks including, but not limited to, event performance tracking and optimization, organic search strategy & optimization, email/SMS campaign support, and website development. Analyzing (and in some cases building) automated performance reports will also be part of this role’s responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years in digital marketing or online marketing role.
Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment: Ability to sit for 8 hours at a time
Degree of Supervision: Minimal

Position Responsibilities:
- Support event marketing management and planning; oversee the day-to-day management of on-campus, virtual and business development events to support lead generation efforts for Galen campuses.
- Optimize event marketing performance; monitor and analyze weekly event performance metrics across all on-campus, virtual and business development events and provide promotional recommendations to improve results; coordinate asset and/or promotional development based on data.
- Manage Google My Business & Apple Listings for all campuses to support SEO; monitor and analyze organic listing performance; optimize performance by strategizing, coordinating and updating listing elements including (but not limited to) image & video assets, review responses, posts & events, FAQs, and more.
- Support the planning and execution of website-based organic search (SEO) campaigns to support strategic objectives and goals
- Carry out day to day project tasks as part of the development and execution of lead nurturing and marketing automation initiatives.
- Assist in the management and delivery of new advertising and lead generation digital media assets and lists in support of Galen’s media agency and advertising campaigns.
- Update website content as needed.
- Continue to find ways to build, evolve or enhance performance marketing reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years in digital marketing or online marketing role.
- Experience using knowledge of digital media, web, and user experience to launch and improve performance of organic & event campaigns for lead cultivation.
- Experience with event marketing, planning, management, and optimization.
- Experience with Google My Business Listing, Google Business Suite and Apple Maps location manager.
- Experience with creating and updating SEO copy/content including keyword research, paid media landing page management, social media content/promotion (integrated digital/online marketing).
- Experience building analytics reports. Google LookerStudio & PowerBI experience is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel. Database management and data manipulation is a plus.
- Working knowledge of email marketing and CRMs platforms (such as Eloqua, ConstantContact, MailChimp, Hubspot, Salesforce or other marketing automation platforms/CRMs) is a plus.
- Experience with tagging, tracking, and data integrations that powers Galen’s marketing technology stack is a plus.
- Experience with WordPress CMS, WP plugins such as Yoast SEO, HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms.
- Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager experience is a plus.
- Stays current with social/digital media trends and make recommendations as necessary on the direction and new modes of communication.
