We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction techniques and be proficient in using various power tools. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every project.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Execute concrete forming tasks to create foundations or other structural elements.
- Install cabinets and other fixtures with precision to meet design specifications.
- Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components while maintaining structural integrity.
- Roof and Stair Framing
Experience
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with various carpentry techniques including drywall installation, masonry work, plastering, plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to carpentry work.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
