Job Summary
The Program Manager at an Automotive Tier-1 Supplier is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of product development programs, from initiation through to production and delivery. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Program Leadership: Lead and manage program activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
• Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining key milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Budget Management: Monitor program budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Customer Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the program's progress and outcomes.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration among various departments to ensure seamless execution of program objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all program deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
• Status Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on program progress, challenges, and key decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automotive product development processes and manufacturing principles.
• Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from concept to completion.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, team members, and senior management.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and problem-solving.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
