The DevOps Release Management team within MP&S is a dynamic, fast-paced environment suited for individuals with high standards. The team is responsible for overseeing the successful deployment of updates to , including major launch events and routine publishing operations.
The DevOps Technical Release Manager Associate plays a key role in coordinating and supporting updates to Apple’s high-traffic website, . This role collaborates with producers, development teams, and content creators to ensure seamless publishing operations, from major launch events to routine updates, while proactively managing any unexpected challenges.
Key Qualifications
- 5 years of experience successfully managing change in a dynamic, global work environment.
- Experience collaborating with other team members in multiple teams, diagnosing and debugging complex systems, and participating in investigating build, deployment, and operational issues.
- Strong background in release management for web systems, including CMS, Apps and Services, SCM (e.g., SVN / Git), frontend and backend web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and web server configuration (Apache / NGINX).
- Experience with Python, Bash, and Groovy scripting.
- Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Dedicated problem-solver who can work in a fast-paced environment where multiple releases are a fact of life.
- Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines to solve critical issues.
- Able to work equally well with people in creative as well as technical positions.
