What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wifi Tester position at Galent?
We have an immediate opening for a Wi-Fi Tester with a leading IT service/solutions provider in CO.
Wifi Tester
Location: Denver, CO (onsite daily)
Top Must Have's (2-3 yrs experience):
Wi-Fi
Networking
Testing
Onsite tester for SCP team
1. 2 years of experience in testing and creating test cases from test plans, specifications, and requirements
2. 2 years of experience in validating firmware / driver level testing for embedded systems
3. 2 years of relevant experience & knowledge of Linux operating systems
4. 2 years of relevant experience working with networking devices such as routers, cable modems, gateways, wifi devices etc.
5. Test execution using both manual and automated techniques.
6. Reviewing, tracking, documenting, and summarizing test results.
7. Strong triaging skills using TCP Dump / WireShark
8. Experience in using GIT, Subversion, Jenkins
9. Relevant experience & knowledge in network protocols : TCP, HTTP
10. Relevant experience & knowledge in IPv4 / IPv6
11. Experience in Testrail, Jira, ALM, HP QC
12. Experience in creating and implementing automated tests using Python and BDD framework is preferable
13. Experience in Python or robot framework is preferable
