Job Responsibilities:
As a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities include:
- Personal Care Assistance – Help clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Mobility Support – Assist clients with walking, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Companionship & Emotional Support – Engage clients in meaningful activities, conversation, and social interactions.
- Medication Reminders – Ensure clients take their prescribed medications on time as directed.
- Meal Preparation & Feeding – Plan and prepare meals based on dietary needs and client preferences.
- Light Housekeeping – Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry and tidying up.
- Transportation & Errands – Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social outings as needed.
- Observation & Reporting – Monitor clients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being and report any changes to the care team or family members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Active CHHA certification in Pennsylvania (required).
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
- Prior experience in home care, hospice, or a healthcare setting (preferred).
- Ability to lift, move, and assist clients safely.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred but not required).
- Ability to pass a background check and health screening.
Job Details:
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
- Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
- Expected Hours: 20 – 60 per week
