We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Emotional Support Caregivers to join our team. This role is essential in providing emotional and social support to individuals who may be experiencing loneliness, anxiety, or difficulties with daily living. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional companionship and support to clients dealing with mental health challenges, social isolation, or life transitions.
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation and a sense of purpose.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands as needed.
- Offer encouragement and motivation to help clients maintain independence and a positive outlook on life.
- Monitor the client’s mental and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to the appropriate family members or healthcare professionals.
- Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social engagements to help them stay connected with their community.
- Provide respite care and support for family caregivers when necessary.
- Follow individualized care plans and adjust emotional support strategies based on the client’s unique needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Compassionate, patient, and emotionally intelligent individuals with a strong desire to help others.
- Previous experience in caregiving, social work, psychology, or mental health support is a plus but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with clients.
- Strong active listening skills and a non-judgmental approach to care.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Comfortable working with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references.
Job Details & Benefits:

- Pay Rate: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
- Expected Hours: 20 – 60 per week
- Shifts Available:
- 4-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
- Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
- Work Location: In-person, within our service counties
