We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Family Support Workers to join our team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting families in navigating challenges, accessing essential resources, and fostering a safe and supportive environment for children and adults in need.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and practical support to families facing social, economic, or personal challenges.
- Work closely with parents, guardians, and children to develop strategies for improving family dynamics and overall well-being.
- Assist families in accessing community resources, including housing assistance, food programs, healthcare, and employment services.
- Monitor the progress of families, ensuring that they receive appropriate support and services.
- Advocate on behalf of families when interacting with schools, social services, healthcare providers, and other organizations.
- Educate families on parenting skills, household management, and child development strategies.
- Provide in-home visits to assess living conditions, identify needs, and offer hands-on assistance.
- Document all case notes, interactions, and progress reports in compliance with agency policies and regulations.
- Assist in crisis intervention and help families develop coping strategies to manage stress and conflict.
- Coordinate with other professionals, including social workers, counselors, and healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive support system for families.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in family support services, case management, social work, or home care is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to build strong relationships with families from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of community resources and social service programs within Pennsylvania.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards.
- Must pass a background check and meet all Pennsylvania home care and social service regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits.

Pay:
- $14.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Expected Hours:
- 20 – 60 hours per week
