Job Description: As a Non-Medical Home Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our clients by providing personalized, non-medical care and companionship. You will assist individuals with daily living activities, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity within the comfort of their own homes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly, disabled, or recovering individuals.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Support clients in mobility, including safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and client preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, vacuuming, tidying, and basic household chores.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, errands, and outings as needed.
- Observe and report changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional conditions promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain detailed documentation of services provided and client observations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Compassionate and caring attitude toward elderly or disabled clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving (lifting, positioning, etc.).
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check (individuals with criminal records are encouraged to apply).
- Previous caregiving or relevant experience is beneficial but not required (training provided).
